Z-Wave Signal Detector

For this project, I worked in an interdisciplinary team of five people. The company sponsoring the project, Alarm.com, wanted us to design a Z-Wave detector to help to troubleshoot connection problems between the central panel and smart devices during the installation process of the devices. Since Z-Wave is a protocol that needs licensing the signal detector uses an SDR to measure voltage changes during paring of the devices with the panel. For this project I created the code to control the LEDs that indicate signal strength, the code for the button to start taking signal readings, and worked with GNU Radio Companion to allow SDR to do the signal processing at the Z-Wave frequency.
